About CtrlAltCTF
CtrlAltCTF is a Jeopardy-style Capture The Flag competition hosted at BSides Basingstoke. It's designed for all skill levels—from newcomers to seasoned pros—and offers a range of cybersecurity challenges that test your knowledge, creativity, and determination.
You can compete solo or in teams of up to 4. Prizes will be awarded to top performers, with real-time leaderboards and optional hints to support learning.
Challenge Categories
- Web – Exploit web vulnerabilities
- Crypto – Decrypt or break weak encryption
- Forensics – Analyse memory, disk, or pcap data
- OSINT – Investigate using open-source intelligence
- Reversing – Reverse engineer compiled binaries
- Misc – Expect the unexpected
